I’m so glad you are here. My name is Allison Ramirez, and I am a Catholic author, editor, writing coach, and content creator passionate about helping other Christian authors bring more true, good, and beautiful books into the world.
Self-publishing isn’t always easy, and it can be overwhelming, so I’m here to walk you through the process with Christ at the center, helping you bring your book vision to life.

I help authors craft powerful, polished stories that connect with readers. With a B.A. in English and 5+ years of experience editing for both independent authors and established publishers, I guide writers through every stage of the process–from shaping big-picture structure and themes to refining sentence flow and correcting final details.
My goal is to elevate your voice, strengthen your story, and prepare your manuscript for publication with confidence.
What I Offer
Developmental
Helping with the overall content and themes of your book. This edit looks at character development, plot points, structure/organization of ideas, and any other “big-picture” elements of your book.
Line/Copy
Evaluating your words at the sentence level. This edit looks at word choice, tone, sentence structure, as well as correcting errors in punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
Proofreading
Checking a manuscript in the final stages of development on typeset (formatted) PDF pages. This edit will look for typos, inconsistencies, and basic formatting errors.
